A 2/2/5/5/ custody schedule is a form of a parenting plan for parents who are separating which spells out how they will share the time and the parenting responsibilities. In the 2/2/5/5/ custody schedule, one parent shall have the child for 2 days, then the other parent shall have the child for the next 2 days. The first parent then shall have 5 days with the child and the other parent shall have the next 5 days. One of the advantages of this type of custody schedule is that the child would always know with which parent he/she would be on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; and the rest of the week alternates between the two parents.
